TRANSCOM WINS DEBT COLLECTION CONTRACT IN NORWAY

Transcom WorldWide S.A., the European Outsourcing specialist, today announced that it has won a contract from AS Oslo Sporveier in Norway, for the provision of debt collection services for a period of three years.

AS Oslo Sporveier is responsible for the transportation system in and around Oslo, providing trains, metro, trams, buses and ferries for its customers.

Transcom's debt collection business has been awarded the contract to manage the debt collection cases generated in the course of AS Oslo Sporveier's operations. This is where customers have been fined for not producing a valid ticket and then the customer has failed to pay the fine.

Keith Russell, CEO of Transcom WorldWide, commented: "We are delighted to have won this contract, particularly in the face of competition from thirteen other debt collection companies. As I said at the time of the debt collection business acquisition, our intention is to grow and expand this business. This contract win demonstrates that we are making progress towards this goal".
