Transcom WorldWide S.A., the European Customer Relationship Management specialist, today announced that James Beers has been proposed by The Nominations Group to be elected to the Board of Directors as a new board member.

Since 2003, James Beers has served as Co-Chairman of McArthurGlen, Europe’s leading designer outlet developer and operator. He also serves as a Member of the Unitholders Advisory Committee at Henderson Global Investors. Until 2000, Mr Beers was the founding partner and Chief Executive of Beers & Cutler, the largest Washington-based business consulting and CPA firm serving closely-held businesses and entrepreneurs.

Mr Beers’ past appointments include: Member of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Audit Committee for DC National Bank; Member of the Board of Directors and Audit Committee for McArthur Glen Realty; Member of the Board of Governors for the District of Columbia Institute of Certified Public Accountants; Member of the Strategic Planning Committee and Management of an Accounting Practice Committee for the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
