We’ve always placed a strong emphasis on sustainable practices in and out of the office. For Earth week, we have decided to shine a spotlight on some of the winners of our GoGreen initiative. You’ll have a chance to read and watch interviews with some of the participants in order to see the Transcom sustainable spirit for yourself. Today we’re talking with team lead Neda Vidanović from Serbia.
The "Go Green" initiative in offices is driven by the desire to reduce environmental impact, lower energy costs, and boost corporate sustainability. It also enhances the company’s image and boosts employee morale.
We formed a dedicated team committed to making our activities more sustainable. We planted trees within the company, set up bike parking stations, replaced plastic bottles with glass, and swapped out non-sustainable items for greener alternatives. We also revived our bee program, and in 2025, we’ll continue our efforts with more meetings focused on sustainability.
It was challenging getting all people on board and ready for actions because of their primary job titles and also shifting from old habits to greener alternatives took time. Also, some eco-friendly products had higher upfront costs.
We tracked several measurable results, including the amount of waste reduced through recycling efforts, the number of plastic bottles eliminated, and the number of trees planted within the company.
Our initiative raised awareness by actively involving employees in hands-on activities. We also communicated the benefits of our actions through internal campaigns, highlighting the positive environmental impact. Regular updates and discussions around our employees.
We inspired others by showing that small changes can have a big impact. Our colleagues became more mindful of their personal sustainability practices, like reducing waste and conserving energy. It sparked conversations and motivated others to adopt sustainable practices, both at work and in their personal lives.
Sustainability aligns with Transcom's strategy by promoting long-term growth, reducing costs, and improving its reputation. It helps enhance operational efficiency, appeal to eco-conscious customers, and foster a positive workplace culture.
It reinforced the company’s commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and community, while also cultivating a culture of responsibility among employees.
I learned that sustainability requires a collaborative effort, and small changes can lead to significant impact when everyone is on board. Engaging employees and making eco-friendly practices easy and visible helps drive lasting change.
It has made me realize that sustainability is about both big and small actions. I’ve become more mindful of my own environmental impact and motivated to make positive changes in my daily life.
Start small and lead by example. Focus on simple, sustainable actions that can grow over time, like recycling or reducing waste. Get others involved by sharing the benefits and showing how easy it can be to make a positive impact. Consistency and education are key to creating lasting change.
Supporting local, sustainable businesses would be key, along with creating more green spaces and organizing community clean-up events to foster environmental stewardship. More education on eco-friendly habits in everyday activities, both at work and in the community, would also help drive lasting change.
Transcom is already a leader in this area, still regularly involving employees in eco-friendly initiatives, investing in green technologies, and promoting sustainability with clients would further strengthen Transcom’s leadership. Sharing progress transparently and celebrating successes could also inspire other businesses to adopt similar practices.

What motivates our people to strive for the best? It’s not a mere matter of discipline, it’s the devotion that emerges when passion meets purpose. When you hear customer experience, you probably think of a frontline function. What comes to mind: response times, tone of voice, escalation paths, or another factor that seems downstream of your operational core? It’s time for a CX reality check.
Far from being a procedural extension of a stable system, customer experience is shaped by - and shapes - your business’s constant transitions. When warehouses migrate, when platforms change, when regulations evolve, ‘frontline’ decisions must be

AI is accelerating faster than enterprise operating models were designed to handle. In every organization, transformation is underway. Roadmaps are expanding, budgets are shifting, and expectations from boards and customers are rising. But acceleration without structure creates volatility - and customer experience is no exception to the rule. While technology introduces possibility, leadership determines whether that possibility becomes measurable value or a mere disruption.
