Transcom is online aanwezig op sociale media om te communiceren met klanten, potentiële sollicitanten en andere geïnteresseerde partijen om hen te informeren over onze producten, diensten en vacatures.

Middels het ‘Transcom Social Media Data Protection Notice’, willen wij je informeren over de verwerking van jouw gegevens in verband met onze aanwezigheid op sociale media en over jouw rechten hierin. Wij zijn vertegenwoordigd met onze eigen aanwezigheid in verschillende sociale netwerken waar je contact met ons op kunt nemen, bijvoorbeeld: Facebook, Instagram of LinkedIn.

1. Facebook Pagina

We onderhouden onze Facebook-pagina op het Facebook-platform dat wordt beheerd door Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, D2 Dublin, Ireland (“Facebook”). Op de pagina informeren wij je over onze diensten, campagnes en vacatures. Daarnaast maken we graag gebruik van Facebook’s mogelijkheden om rechtstreeks te communiceren met leden, onze medewerkers, kandidaten en sollicitanten, onze klanten en potentiële klanten. 

Houd er echter rekening mee dat wij weinig invloed hebben op de verwerking van persoonsgegevens door Facebook. Wanneer je de pagina bezoekt, kunnen jouw gegevens ook worden verwerkt in landen buiten de Europese Unie. Hier geldt een lager niveau van gegevensbescherming dan in de Europese Unie (bijvoorbeeld in de Verenigde Staten). Als Facebook echter gegevens overdraagt aan het Amerikaanse bedrijf Facebook Inc. of andere bedrijven buiten Europa, hebben zij contractuele voorzorgsmaatregelen genomen om de Europese gegevensbescherming beginselen te waarborgen. Bij het verwerken van persoonsgegevens buiten Europa kan het echter in individuele gevallen zo zijn dat de rechten van EU-burgers niet of niet volledig kunnen worden afgedwongen, bijvoorbeeld wanneer Amerikaanse inlichtingendiensten of veiligheidsautoriteiten gegevens opslaan en analyseren. Controleer daarom zorgvuldig welke persoonlijke informatie je deelt via Facebook en maak in geval van twijfel gebruik van onze contactmogelijkheden.

We kunnen ook statistieken van Facebook ontvangen over het gebruik van onze aanwezigheid op sociale media. Bijvoorbeeld details over het aantal weergaven, interacties zoals vind-ik-leuks en opmerkingen, evenals samengevatte demografische statistieken en andere informatie.

De rechtsgrondslag is artikel 6 (1) (b), van de General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), in het Nederlands ook wel bekend als “AVG”, Algemene Verordening Gegevensbescherming. Indien wij jouw gegevens ontvangen en verwerken in het kader van een specifiek verzoek via onze aanwezigheid in de sociale media, en is artikel 6, (1), (f), van de GDPR op basis van ons voornoemde rechtmatige belang indien de verwerking betrekking heeft op het opstellen van de genoemde statistieken.

Meer informatie over het type en de reikwijdte van deze statistieken is hier beschikbaar. Verdere informatie over de respectieve verantwoordelijkheden is beschikbaar in het Facebook Page Controller Addendum. 

Voor zover wij jouw persoonlijke gegevens ontvangen in het kader van ons aanbod op sociale media, bijvoorbeeld wanneer je ons een bericht stuurt op Facebook, sta je volledig tot je recht als beschreven in deze verklaring (zie ook het gedeelte hieronder met de titel: “Toestemming en jouw rechten met betrekking tot gegevensbescherming”). Als je ook jouw rechten jegens Facebook wilt doen gelden, is de eenvoudigste manier om rechtstreeks contact op te nemen met Facebook. Facebook is bekend met de details van de technische werking van zijn eigen platform en met de specifieke doeleinden van de gegevensverwerking en kan op verzoek overeenkomstige maatregelen nemen als jij jouw rechten uitoefent. De contactgegevens zijn beschikbaar in het Facebook Data Policy. Je kunt jouw rechten ook waarborgen via een online formulier van Facebook. 

Wij ondersteunen je graag bij het doen gelden van jouw rechten als wij daartoe in staat zijn, en zullen jouw vragen doorsturen naar Facebook. Je kunt hiervoor te allen tijde de hieronder vermelde contactgegevens gebruiken.

2. Instagram Profiel

Instagram is een platform voor sociale media dat wordt aangeboden door Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, D2 Dublin, Ierland (“Facebook”). Op ons profiel presenteren wij content met betrekking tot onze productinnovaties, diensten en campagnes. Daarnaast gebruiken wij Instagram bovendien om te communiceren met gebruikers, bijvoorbeeld wanneer we inhoud delen of erop reageren.

Houd er rekening mee dat Instagram nauw verbonden is met het sociale netwerk Facebook en dezelfde infrastructuur gebruikt en ook informatie over het gebruik van Instagram-accounts of de interactie met inhoud op Instagram gebruikt, om andere producten en diensten van Facebook verder te ontwikkelen en om een naadloze gebruikerservaring op beide platforms mogelijk te maken. De gegevens worden ook gebruikt om advertenties op Facebook en Instagram te personaliseren en om adverterende klanten in staat te stellen reclame te maken voor bepaalde doelgroepen. 

Wij hebben slechts weinig invloed op de gegevensverwerking die door Facebook wordt uitgevoerd. Wij ontvangen alleen de gegevens die jij ons toestuurt bij het gebruik van Instagram of die jij met ons deelt (bijv. je gebruikersnaam als u commentaar geeft op onze inhoud). Wanneer je ons profiel bezoekt of interactie hebt met onze inhoud, kunnen jouw gegevens ook worden verwerkt in landen buiten de Europese Unie waar een lager niveau van gegevensbescherming geldt dan in de Europese Unie (bijv. in de Verenigde Staten). Indien Facebook echter gegevens doorgeeft aan het Amerikaanse bedrijf Facebook Inc. of andere bedrijven buiten Europa, heeft Facebook contractuele voorzorgsmaatregelen genomen om de naleving van de Europese beginselen inzake gegevensbescherming te waarborgen. 

Bij de verwerking van persoonsgegevens buiten Europa kan het echter in individuele gevallen zo zijn dat de rechten van EU-burgers niet of niet volledig kunnen worden afgedwongen, bijvoorbeeld wanneer Amerikaanse veiligheidsinstanties gegevens opslaan en analyseren. Controleer daarom zorgvuldig welke persoonlijke informatie en welk nieuws je deelt via Instagram. Wij kunnen ook statistieken van Facebook ontvangen over het gebruik van ons Instagram-profiel (bijv. gegevens over het aantal weergaven en interacties zoals likes en opmerkingen, evenals samengevatte demografische en andere informatie of statistieken). 

De rechtsgrondslag is artikel 6 (1) (f) GDPR gebaseerd op ons gerechtvaardigd belang om ons bedrijf en onze producten en campagnes te presenteren indien de verwerking betrekking heeft op het creëren van de genoemde statistieken.

Meer informatie over de gegevensverwerking door Facebook in het kader van het gebruik van Instagram is te vinden in het gegevensbeleid van Instagram. De door Facebook vervulde verplichtingen inzake gegevensbescherming zijn daarin en in de gebruiksvoorwaarden van Instagram uiteengezet. Instagram is een product van Facebook en nadere informatie over de respectieve verantwoordelijkheden is te vinden in het Facebook Page Controller Addendum.

Voor zover wij jouw persoonsgegevens in het kader van ons Instagram-profiel ontvangen, kun je aanspraak maken op de rechten die in deze verklaring worden genoemd (zie ook het gedeelte "Toestemming en jouw rechten met betrekking tot gegevensbescherming"). Als je jouw rechten ook tegenover Facebook wilt doen gelden, is de eenvoudigste manier om dit te doen door rechtstreeks contact op te nemen met Facebook. Facebook is bekend met de details van de technische werking van zijn eigen platform en met de specifieke doeleinden van de gegevensverwerking en kan op verzoek overeenkomstige maatregelen treffen indien jij jouw rechten uitoefent. De contactgegevens zijn beschikbaar in het gegevensbeleid van Instagram. Je kunt jouw rechten ook via een online formulier van Facebook veiligstellen.

3. LinkedIn 

Wij onderhouden een bedrijfsprofiel op LinkedIn via welke wij niet alleen vacatures publiceren, maar ook artikelen over projecten, productinnovaties, onze diensten en campagnes. Daarnaast gebruiken wij de mogelijkheden van LinkedIn om daar rechtstreeks te communiceren met leden, onze klanten en potentiële klanten, en om content te delen. Voor gebruikers in de Europese Economische Ruimte en Zwitserland wordt LinkedIn aangeboden door LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ierland ("LinkedIn"). 

Wij zijn verantwoordelijk voor onze eigen inhoud in ons bedrijfsprofiel en voor de door ons gedeelde informatie. LinkedIn levert het technische platform en de infrastructuur voor het sociale netwerk. Wanneer je met ons communiceert op LinkedIn, kunnen jouw gegevens ook worden verwerkt in landen buiten de Europese Unie waar een lager niveau van gegevensbescherming geldt dan in de Europese Unie (bijv. in de Verenigde Staten). Als LinkedIn echter gegevens overdraagt aan bedrijven buiten Europa, heeft LinkedIn contractuele voorzorgsmaatregelen genomen om de naleving van de Europese beginselen inzake gegevensbescherming te waarborgen. Bij de verwerking van persoonsgegevens buiten Europa kan het echter in individuele gevallen zo zijn dat de rechten van EU-burgers niet of niet volledig kunnen worden afgedwongen, bijvoorbeeld wanneer Amerikaanse veiligheidsautoriteiten gegevens opslaan en analyseren. Controleer daarom zorgvuldig welke persoonlijke informatie en welk nieuws je via LinkedIn deelt en maak in geval van twijfel gebruik van andere contactmogelijkheden die wij bieden.

We kunnen ook statistieken van LinkedIn ontvangen over het gebruik van onze aanwezigheid op sociale media (bijv. gegevens over het aantal weergaven van artikelen en berichten, interacties zoals "vind ik leuk" en opmerkingen, evenals samengevatte demografische en andere informatie zoals geaggregeerde informatie over de posities en locaties van de volgers en groepsleden of andere statistieken). 

De rechtsgrondslag is artikel 6 (1) (b) GDPR indien wij jouw gegevens ontvangen en verwerken in het kader van een specifiek verzoek via onze aanwezigheid in de sociale media en is artikel 6 (1) (f) GDPR op basis van ons voornoemde rechtmatige belang indien de verwerking betrekking heeft op het creëren van de genoemde statistieken.

Verdere informatie over het type en de reikwijdte van deze statistieken is ook beschikbaar in het privacybeleid van LinkedIn (aldaar: sectie 2.8: "Aggregate Insights") en in de bijbehorende LinkedIn hulppagina. Verdere informatie over de respectievelijke verantwoordelijkheden is beschikbaar in het Page Insights Joint Controller Addendum. 

Voor zover wij jouw persoonsgegevens ontvangen in het kader van ons social media-aanbod, bijv. als je ons berichten stuurt via LinkedIn (bijv. via de Messaging-functie), kun je aanspraak maken op de rechten die daarop betrekking hebben en die in deze Verklaring worden genoemd (zie ook het gedeelte "Toestemming en jouw rechten met betrekking tot gegevensbescherming" hieronder). Als je jouw rechten ook tegenover LinkedIn wilt doen gelden, is de eenvoudigste manier om dit te doen door rechtstreeks contact met LinkedIn op te nemen. LinkedIn is bekend met de details van de technische werking van zijn eigen platform en met de specifieke doeleinden van de gegevensverwerking en kan op verzoek overeenkomstige maatregelen treffen als je jouw rechten uitoefent. De contactgegevens van LinkedIn zijn te vinden in het privacybeleid van LinkedIn (aldaar: paragraaf 5.5, "Contactinformatie"). 

Wij ondersteunen je graag bij het doen gelden van uw rechten als wij daartoe in staat zijn, en zullen vragen die ook ons betreffen aan LinkedIn doorsturen. Je kunt hiervoor te allen tijde gebruik maken van de hieronder vermelde contactgegevens.

4. Toestemming en jouw rechten met betrekking tot gegevensbescherming

Alle persoonsgegevens die jij op de sociale media van Transcom verstrekt, zullen zonder jouw afzonderlijke toestemming uitsluitend worden gebruikt voor het doel waarvoor jij ze hebt verstrekt (bijv. voor het beantwoorden van vragen, het solliciteren naar een baan), alsmede voor de technische administratie. Indien je wordt gevraagd om in te stemmen met een bijkomend gebruik, is deze toestemming altijd vrijwillig en kun je deze te allen tijde met werking voor de toekomst weer intrekken. In deze gevallen is de rechtsgrondslag voor de gegevensverwerking de toestemming overeenkomstig artikel 6, (1) (a), GDPR. 

Bovendien kun je te allen tijde bezwaar maken tegen het gebruik van jouw persoonsgegevens voor reclame of voor marktonderzoek en enquêtes, of informatie over deze opgeslagen gegevens opvragen. Je hebt ook te allen tijde de mogelijkheid om jouw persoonlijke gegevens die je bij ons hebt opgeslagen, te laten corrigeren, blokkeren of wissen. Schrijf of stuur een e-mail naar de hieronder vermelde contactgegevens. Wij wijzen erop dat wij gegevens die wij nodig hebben om onze rechten en aanspraken te doen gelden, uitsluiten van het wissen van gegevens. Dit geldt ook voor gegevens die wij op grond van wettelijke voorschriften moeten bewaren. Dergelijke gegevens worden geblokkeerd, zodat ze alleen kunnen worden gebruikt voor de doeleinden waarvoor ze moeten worden bewaard.

Indien de in deze mededeling genoemde dienstverleners jouw gegevens buiten de Europese Unie verwerken, zullen wij ervoor zorgen dat deze dienstverleners contractueel of anderszins een niveau van gegevensbescherming garanderen dat gelijkwaardig is aan dat van de Europese Unie. Je kunt een kopie van deze garanties opvragen via de hieronder vermelde contactgegevens.

Ten slotte heb je ook het recht om een elektronische kopie te vragen van de informatie die wij verwerken in het kader van een overeenkomst of op basis van jouw toestemming (bekend als het recht op gegevensoverdraagbaarheid). Je hebt ook het recht om een klacht in te dienen bij een gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit.

5. Sollicitaties

Je kunt solliciteren naar een functie bij Transcom via onze sociale media, carrièrepagina of als je solliciteert via andere sites of banen portalen van derden. Voor meer informatie over de verwerking van jouw persoonlijke gegevens tijdens de sollicitatieprocedure verwijzen wij je naar onze mededeling voor sollicitanten over gegevensverwerking.

6. Wijzigingen van deze Verklaring

Transcom behoudt zich het recht voor om deze Verklaring te allen tijde zonder voorafgaande kennisgeving te wijzigen. Wij raden je daarom aan om regelmatig op de hoogte te blijven van eventuele wijzigingen.

De Transcom entiteit die wordt vermeld op de respectievelijke sociale media-aanwezigheid of onder deze link is de controller in de zin van de GDPR. Je kunt de relevante contactgegevens van de Transcom entiteit die in de respectieve sociale media-aanwezigheid of hier wordt vermeld, vinden. Tenzij andere contactgegevens zijn vermeld in de respectieve sociale media-aanwezigheid, aarzel dan niet om contact met ons op te nemen via communications@transcom.com.

Transcom maintains online presences in social media to communicate with customers, potential applicants, and other interested parties, and to inform them about our products and services, and job openings.

In the following (“Notice”), we would like to inform you about the processing of your data in connection with our social media presence as well as about your rights in this regard. We are represented with our own social media presence in various social networks where you can contact us, e.g. Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn.

1. Facebook Page 

We maintain our Facebook Page on the Facebook platform operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, D2 Dublin, Ireland (“Facebook”). On the Page, we inform you about our services, campaigns and job opportunities. We additionally like to use Facebook’s capabilities to communicate directly there with members, our employees, candidates and applicants, our customers and prospective customers.

Please note, however, that we have only little influence on the processing of personal data by Facebook. When you visit the Page, your data may also be processed in countries outside of the European Union where there is a lower level of data protection compared to that in the European Union (e.g., in the United States).  However, if Facebook transfers data to the US company Facebook Inc. or other companies outside Europe, Facebook has undertaken contractual precautions to ensure compliance with the European data protection principles. However, when processing personal data outside of Europe, it may in individual cases be the case that the rights of EU citizens cannot or cannot fully be enforced, e.g. when US intelligence agencies or security authorities store and analyze data. Therefore, please check carefully what personal information you share via Facebook and, in case of doubt, use other contact options that we provide.

We may also receive statistics from Facebook on the use of our social media presence (e.g., details on the number of views, interactions such as likes and comments as well as summarized demographic and other information or statistics).

The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) if we receive and process your data within the context of a specific request via our social media presence and is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our aforementioned legitimate interest if the processing concerns the creation of the statistics mentioned.

2. Instagram Profile

Instagram is a social media platform provided by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, D2 Dublin, Ireland (“Facebook”). On our profile, we present content in relation to our product innovations, services and campaigns. We additionally use the Instagram functions to communicate with users there, e.g., when we share content or comment on it. 

Please bear in mind that Instagram is closely associated with the Facebook social network and uses the same infrastructure and also uses information on the use of Instagram accounts or the interaction with content on Instagram to further develop other products and services of Facebook and to enable a seamless user experience on both platforms. The data is also used to personalize advertisements on Facebook and Instagram and to enable advertising clients to advertise to certain target groups. 

We have only little influence on the data processing carried out by Facebook. We receive only the data that you send to us when using Instagram or that you share with us (e.g., your user name if you comment on our content). When you visit our profile or interact with our content, your data may also be processed in countries outside of the European Union where there is a lower level of data protection compared to that in the European Union (e.g., in the United States).  ).  However, if Facebook transfers data to the US company Facebook Inc. or other companies outside Europe, Facebook has undertaken contractual precautions to ensure compliance with the European data protection principles. However, when processing personal data outside of Europe, it may in individual cases be the case that the rights of EU citizens cannot or cannot fully be enforced, e.g. when US security authorities store and analyze data. Therefore, please check carefully what personal information and news you share via Instagram.

We may also receive statistics from Facebook on the use of our Instagram profile (e.g., details on the number of views and interactions such as likes and comments as well as summarized demographic and other information or statistics). 

The legal basis is article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our legitimate interest to present our company and our products and campaigns if the processing relates to the creation of the said statistics.

Further information on data processing by Facebook within the scope of using Instagram is available in the Instagram Data Policy. The data protection obligations fulfilled by Facebook are set out there and in the Instagram Terms of Use. Instagram is a Facebook product and further information on the respective responsibilities is available in the Facebook Page Controller Addendum .

3. LinkedIn 

We maintain a company profile on LinkedIn via which we publish not only job vacancies but also articles on projects, product innovations, our services and campaigns. We additionally use the capabilities of LinkedIn to communicate directly there with members, our customers and prospective customers, as well as to share content. For users in the European Economic Area and Switzerland, LinkedIn is provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”). 

We are responsible for our own content in our company profile and for information shared by us. LinkedIn provides the technical platform and infrastructure for the social network. When you communicate with us on LinkedIn, your data may also be processed in countries outside of the European Union where there is a lower level of data protection compared to that in the European Union (e.g., in the United States). However, if LinkedIn transfers data to companies outside Europe, LinkedIn has undertaken contractual precautions to ensure compliance with the European data protection principles. However, when processing personal data outside of Europe, it may in individual cases be the case that the rights of EU citizens cannot or cannot fully be enforced, e.g. when US security authorities store and analyze data. Therefore, please check carefully what personal information and news you share via LinkedIn and, in the case of doubt, use other contact options that we provide.

The legal basis is Article 6 (1) (b) GDPR if we receive and process your data within the context of a specific request via our social media presence and is Article 6 (1) (f) GDPR based on our aforementioned legitimate interest if the processing concerns the creation of the statistics mentioned.

4. Consent and your rights regarding data protection

Without your separate consent, all of the personal data that you supply on Transcom’s social media presence will be used only for the purpose for which you provided it (e.g., for answering queries, applying for a job), as well as for technical administration. If you are asked to consent to an additional use, this consent is always voluntary and you can withdraw it again at any time with effect for the future. In these cases, the legal basis for data processing is the consent pursuant to Article 6 (1) (a) GDPR. 

Furthermore, you may, at any time, object to your personal data being used for advertising or for market research and surveys, or request information about this stored data. You also have the option of having your personal data that you have stored with us corrected, blocked or deleted at any time. Please write or send an e-mail to the contact details provided below. Please note that we exclude data from deletion that we require for enforcing our rights and claims. This also applies to data we must keep in accordance with legal requirements. Such data is blocked so it can only be used for the purposes for which it needs to be retained.

If the service providers named in this Notice process your data outside the European Union, we will ensure that these providers guarantee contractually or otherwise an equivalent level of data protection to that of the European Union. You can request a copy of these guarantees via the contact details provided below.
